MISSION STATEMENT

Westminster Neighborhood Ministries values authentic Christian love that is alive in a partnership of service with the neighborhood through teaching and modeling self-respect, integrity, achievement, tolerance and generosity.

VISION:           

Westminster Neighborhood Ministries is a welcoming, safe, and loving Christian community of residents, church volunteers, and staff that meets basic needs of neighborhood families, and in which all its members are valued and play an equal role in supporting and helping each other.

MISSION:       

Westminster Neighborhood Ministries is a Christian Community in the near east side of Indianapolis that partners with the neighborhood, Presbyterian churches, and community organizations to serve local families through:

the provision of children’s programs that meets nurturing, safety, educational, and developmental needs;

the provision of food and clothing that meets families’ basic needs;

the provision of supportive services, e.g., legal clinics, adult education and support groups, and resource and referral in the establishment of partnerships with other community organizations.
